Get Previous Value

Occasionally, I come across the need to capture the previous value of something:

• Page names
• Internal search term
• Step in a conversion funnel
• Etc...

Often, this is something that needs to persist across pages, sessions or perhaps even longer.  To make this happen - and to remain vendor agnostic - I've created the following plug-in that can be added to your custom analytics JavaScript library:

JavaScript Bingo

Many many moons ago, I decided I should learn something about JavaScript.  Seeing as how my new (at the time) job was going to require that I become proficient with the 'language,'  So, in order to start learning, I set out to build the bingo calling board you see below.  It's not pretty, nor is it likely the most efficient coding I've ever done, but it works.  Enjoy!
